Traditional marriage photographer in Yaoundé.
Tradition, with the respect it deserves.
A traditional marriage (dot) is not photographed like a civil wedding: it is a meeting of two families, with its own stages, speeches and outfits. We know them well.
The presentation of the gifts, the negotiations, the palm wine, the presentation of the bride, the traditional outfits that change as the day goes on: a dot is full of short moments and deep emotion. You have to be in the right place without getting in the way, and know what comes next.
We cover traditional marriages in Yaoundé and the surrounding villages, on their own or as part of a wedding over several days. Every photo is edited one by one, and the film brings back the speeches and songs just as they were lived.
